Two cousins, Ayesha Ahmed Mansoor and Huma Javed Ahmed founded Mausummery in 1997. They both were business graduates from LUMS and their fathers owned a textile mill named Data Sahib Textiles. Their mill was doing well and there was a surplus of fabric production. After graduating they both decided to bring their business skill to use and start a lawn brand. They initially designed clothes and start selling them in exhibitions. The designs and prints they introduced were basically for lawn suits, soft and elegant hues and delicate work on them with lively prints and mesmerizing cuts attracted the audience. After two years of successfully introducing their fabric and designs in the market, they finally launched the brand Mausummery in a shop in Regency Plaza Lahore. 

When they introduced their collection it was essentially for summers, the colors used ranging from soft pinks, peaches, and whites and the softest fabric made a place in every customer’s heart. Now Mausummery has been competing with the competitor brands and they try to bring innovations to stay in-game. The brand is running online and in stores in the whole country and serving its customers with the best quality.
